HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

So... how are you bloggees, sitting, pathetic and lonely, looking at blogs because you don't have a V-day date? Oops- did I just write that out loud? Sorry, we Jewish gals just can't seem to keep our keyboards shut. :D

Anyhoo, since none of you have dates (and neither do I, obviously), I have decided not to post any Valentine's Day cakes, as that may induce lack-of-date-/cake-related sadness, and I want NONE of you to be sad because I care about you, my blog-reading friends.

MUPPETASTIC!

OMG a mix of two of my many great loves- CAKE and the MUPPETS! Made by someone named Heather for a state fair (I think), this cake is AWESOME. Look, you see Ms. Piggy, Kermit, ANIMAL, Swedish Chef, and the whole crew! LOOOVE IT!

BY THE BOSS HIMSELF...

It's FRANKENSTEIN! No, silly, it's just a cake. Phew. How realistic. Made by the Cake Boss himself (BUDDY, YOU ROCK!), this cake is frighteningly realistic, but most certainly delicious! :D Imagine eating that guy though...
I would want his nose. :D and then his fondant shirt sleeves.

Imagine having this with a "glass of milk" cake. Oy. I posted this one as a special tribute to one of my very best friends and my cake-looking buddy, (insert name here). She's really great, and this is one of her (and my) favorite cakes that we've found so far. I don't know who made it (I certainly didn't), but kudos to whoever did, and if you DID make this cake and you're reading this right now- YOU, my friend, are a GENIUS.

An Everlasting Bond

James Bond, that is! This cake, designed by David Malki and made by Mike's Amazing Cakes, is just what one would expect of an action movie cake- EXCITING. Complete with gunmen and plane crashes, I'm surprised that this cake can stand at all. (plus, poor Mrs. Bond, she might get someone's blood all over her wedding dress!) Talk about crashing a party! :D

TODAY...

Hi fellow blog-goers! I just feel like giving you an update on me, so here goes:
Today, I spent the whole morning cleaning up because I'm having friends over tonight and now I'm tweaking my research paper and working out (only twenty push-ups to go! :D) during my breaks. I am deeply anticipating the arrival of my friends in 2.75 hours, so I will keep typing to entertain myself.
So... I'm listening to BLI radio in my room (Live Like We're Dying by Kris Allen!) and typing to you, my dearest fans (hello? anyone there? I love you! Got that?). I'm procrastinating doing my paper and OH MY GOSH I need to study something. I'll do that in a minute, then. Alright. know what I gotta do now. :D So, bloggees, how have y'all been? You like my blog so far? Hope so!

BABY CAKE

This is a cake celebrating a new baby from Michelle Cakes. As you can see, it's pretty strange. However, I find it cute. Almost, conceivably, kind of cute in it's own, special, way. :D
